Ad Serving in the Cloud
A Dedicated Server for as little as $11/month?
Are you ready to take the inClick Ad Server for a spin? If so, save yourself
time and effort by avoiding shared and free hosting providers as they
are simply too restrictive. From a restrictive environment, to the lack of
support, save yourself the time and effort and do it right the
first time.
A real dedicated server for $11 a month, really? Well, pretty much, yes. Thanks to recent
advances in Cloud
Computing at Rackspace, it's now cost-effective to fire-up a server in the cloud. For as
little as 1.5 cents per hour (that's about $11 a month), you can have a
"dedicated" server started and provisioned with the inClick Ad Server
installed, ready and running, in less than an hours time!
11 Bucks? Does it work? While the $11 cloud server may not handle much for traffic
(less than 500k impressions per day),
it does make a great low-cost approach to getting the ad server setup and tested. When you're
ready to "go-live" and increase traffic, you can simply upgrade your cloud server on-the-fly
with almost no down-time (just a couple minutes for a reboot). Here's what you get:
- Full root access and rebooting
- Dedicated IP address and Tier-1 redundant bandwidth
- RAID-10 disk storage
- Dedicated / Reserved RAM
- 4-core parent servers
So, what's the deal? Open a Rackspace Cloud Server account and we'll spin-up and provision
a cloud server, install dependencies, and have the inClick Ad Server
ready and running at no cost to you in as little as an hour*.
Here's how to get started:
- Open a Rackspace Cloud account (this is free)

1. Log into your Rackspace Cloud Account
2. Click on the Hosting link (left side)
3. Click on Cloud Files from the menu
